A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation Poll on September 1 & 2, 2010, showed that 6 in 10 Americans oppose the war in Afghanistan

On August 31, President Barack Obama declared that combat troops have left Iraq, although more than 50,000 other troops remain

--so now is the time for the final push!

On October 2, a national demonstration in Washington D.C. will deliver the message that Americans need: 

Jobs and economic recovery;
Cuts in military spending to fund human needs;
Peace abroad and renewable energy at home;
To bring the troops and War dollars home now.
