Who We Are

The Dallas Peace Center is part of the larger worldwide movement for peace and human rights.  We work with peace and justice organizations in the Dallas area, across the U.S., and internationally.  Through research, education, and dialogue, we hope to generate action in the great tradition of non-violence – the vision and the power that ended British colonialism in India, dismantled apartheid in South Africa, and overcame Jim Crow in America.

The Dallas Peace Center (DPC) is an inclusive and progressive, peace and justice organization. We work with individuals and groups to act courageously for peace and justice in the world, following nonviolent principles of Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr., Dorothy Day, and others.

The DPC is a grassroots, volunteer-driven organization, providing support, assistance, and instruction for those whose passion directs them towards promoting peace through justice.
